WWE Recap 2/07/16 – 2/13/16…

Stephanie McMahon reminded fans of the looming main event at Fastlane, Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar. The winner will face her husband, Triple H. Ambrose, Reigns, Brock and Paul Heyman strolled into the ring. Each man signed the contract, making the match official.
All of a sudden, Dean charged Brock. The Beast tossed Dean onto Roman. With Reigns out of the ring, Lesnar suplexed The Lunatic Fringe.
Dean promised retaliation.
Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler
Kevin Owens wasted no time and manhandled Ziggler. A tornado DDT from Ziggler immobilized both men- Dolph was propelled out of the ring and Owens dangled off the edge of the mat. Dolph miraculously recovered and stunned KO with a Famouser off the apron from the floor. Ziggler sealed the victory with assistance from the ropes.

The Dudley Boyz confronted The Usos about an upcoming tables match later that night. An agreement was made to add the former ECW stars to face The New Day.
Charlotte vs Alicia Fox
Charlotte proved to be a dominant Diva’s Champion. She survived a northern lights suplex from Alicia and bombarded the vixen with a leg scissors face buster. Recuperated, Fox built momentum off the ropes only to get speared. Victor by submission was Charlotte with the Figure 8.
Miz TV/ Highlight Reel
The Miz, disgusted by an assault from AJ Styles, went on a rant only to be cut short by Jericho. The Miz was pissed because his Hollywood smile was destroyed; AJ caused dental damage to Miz and Y2J was pissed because. . . The Miz did not mention him in his rant?
Roadies transformed the ring from Miz TV to the Highlight Reel. Y2J humiliated The Miz by replaying the assault. The Miz reminded everyone that AJ Styles clobbered Y2J on his WWE debut. AJ Styles appeared out of nowhere. He launched The Miz out of the ring and went face-to-face with Jericho.
Bray Wyatt with Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, and Braun Strowman vs Ryback
From the start, Ryback had no chance. He hesitated with a top rope move only to encounter the Wyatt Family outside the ring. Bray later caught Ryback mid-Meat Hook and finished Ryback with Sister Abigail. Ryback laid comatose while the Wyatt family ravaged his lifeless body.
Titus O’Neil vs Adam Rose
When Rose slapped O’Neil, Titus threw a punch that sent Rose flying. The Social Outcasts dragged Rose out of the ring. O’Neil wouldn’t let them run away and barreled through them like a wrecking ball. Rose stole the win with help by a distraction from Heath Slater.

The Lunatic Fringe entered the ring and stated Lesnar didn’t hurt him. He challenged Brock to a brawl. Brock entered the Ambrose Asylum. Dean jumped on The Beast. However, Brock was an absolute machine and showed no mercy. Dean laid in the middle of the ring and crawled toward the monster.
Brock left the ring. Somehow Ambrose was still moving and motioned for Brock to come back. A surprise appearance from Roman allowed Dean to get a low blow on the Beast.
Kalisto and Sin Cara vs Alberto del Rio and Rusev with King Barrett
Sin Cara returned from a previous injury. Rusev and del Rio double teamed him. Kalisto was finally tagged in and the pace changed. Sin Cara took out Rusev and Kalisto spun a corkscrew at del Rio. A diversion caused Kalisto to get twisted in the ropes and Alberto used this to jump onto Kalisto’s ribs. The League of Nations robbed the contest and del Rio was able to remind Kalisto that he is hungry for the U.S. title.
Becky Lynch vs Tamina with special guest commentator Sasha Banks
Tamina choked Becky on the ropes while Naomi threw some cheap shots. Banks was in trouble when Naomi pulverized her. Naomi hit her so hard, Sasha’s sunglasses flew off her head. Tamina was able to prevail via pinfall.
The New Day and Mark Henry vs The Usos and The Dudley Boyz in a Tables Match
Usos took to the sky and wiped out The New Day. The unicorns were greedy and exploited The World’s Strongest Man. He grew weary of their tirade and walked out of the match. The Usos seized the opportunity to clothesline The New Day and The Dudley Boyz implemented a “Whassup” from the top rope.
Big E was victimized with a 3D through a table.
The Dudley Boyz and Usos won. Suddenly, Bubba Ray clobbered Jimmy. He became the next victim of the 3D.
Unsympathetic to the wounded Jey, the Dudley Boyz delivered a barbaric 3D onto a table.
Daniel Bryan Retirement Ceremony
Bryan closed his eyes in the ring, savoring the moment. He broke into laughter.

Bryan joked that he didn’t want to shave his beard. He said he would have looked silly with a giant beard to go with his trimmed hair. Bryan donated his hair to Wigs for Kids.

Bryan had wrestled since he was 18. He suffered three concussions in the first 5 months of wrestling. He has amassed numerous concussions since.
He loved wrestling like nothing else. A recent test concluded his brain might not be in the best of shape.
He has a future to think about. Him and his wife want to have children. “YES! YES! YES!” joked the fans. “That’s what Brie says all the time.” Bryan responded. Fans praised him, “That’s what she said!”
For sixteen years, he got to do what he loved.
He had wrestled in parking lots of gas stations, in front of 70,000 fans in New Orleans, met the best people in the world.
Wrestling and fans don’t owe Bryan anything. At 5’8” and 190 pounds, fans rallied for him in a way he never thought possible. Two years ago fans hijacked Raw. They wouldn’t stop chanting his name when John Cena and Randy Orton were the focal points of a WWE WHC angle. Fans were obsessed with a man not even involved in the feud.
Daniel choked up. He remembered when his father sat in the front row at that Raw in particular. That was the last time his father watched him wrestle. Fans made that night a special experience.
Because of wrestling, Bryan met the most wonderful woman in the world, his wife, Brie.
Brie joined him and he hugged his family. They strolled around the arena, enjoying his last YES! celebration.

SMACKDOWN 02/11/2016

Who invites themselves to a party they weren’t invited to? The Social Outcasts. SmackDown was about to kick off with the much anticipated Y2J vs AJ Styles but The Social Outcasts crashed the party. Clearly they suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out).
Y2J and AJ Styles vs Curtis Axel and Adam Rose with Heath Slater
The Social Outcasts attacked Jericho and AJ Styles surprisingly defended him. The real competition was between AJ and Jericho, who were one upping each other the entire match. Axel was their unfortunate victim. AJ dropkicked Axel but Jericho impressed with a late vertical suplex. The rivals even went toe-to-toe on the ropes. Jericho electrified with a diving double axe handle but AJ won the contest with a vicious flying forearm. Their camaraderie didn’t last long. Jericho blindsided AJ with a Codebreaker as a warning for their rematch.
Dudley Boyz
The WWE Universe was appalled on Raw when The Dudley Boyz 3D’d The Usos. The Dudley’s were sick of hearing about Daniel Bryan, sick of fans chanting “We want tables,” and sick of being looked at with nostalgia. The tables didn’t win 9 WWE Tag Team Championships, they did. Dudleyville will now be a table-free zone. To prove a point, D-Von and Bubba carried the last table out of the arena.
Sasha Banks vs Naomi with Tamina and Becky Lynch as guest commentator
Rumor has it bad blood formed when Sasha announced she is the Beyonce of Team Bad. Naomi was out for revenge showing off her aggressive side. She brutally dropped Banks spine first onto the apron. With a back suplex, Naomi continued to destroy Sasha’s back. Banks endured a lot of punishment and somehow came alive. She survived a head scissors from Namoi and saved Becky by kicking Tamina. Sasha proved to be The Boss with the Banks Statement and won via submission. Becky even applauded the heroic comeback.
Stardust and The Ascension- aka Cosmic Wasteland vs Neville and Sin Cara and Kalisto
If you blinked, you would have missed the whole match. Bodies were flying everywhere! The highlight of the match was a beautiful trifecta of high-flying moves from Sin Cara, Kalisto, and Neville. Sin Cara launched a swanton bomb, Kalisto nailed a springboard corkscrew, and Neville hit a Red Arrow. Neville and The Lucha Dragons were victorious.
Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles
Both men had a lot to prove for their rematch. AJ needed to beat Jericho twice to prove he is phenomenal. Jericho faced more pressure as a six-time WWE Champion. He had beaten The Rock and Stone Cold in the same night. His reputation would suffer if a newcomer to WWE beat him twice. With so much on the line, the rivals continued to one up each other. Who could inflict the most damage? Jericho concentrated on inhibiting AJ’s breathing by catapulting his throat into the bottom rope and delivered an elbow to the larynx. While AJ focused on technical moves such as flying forearm to Y2J’s jaw line and a fireman carry with a neck breaker. Y2J attempted the Walls of Jericho and Styles impressively unraveled from the submission. Then Jericho reversed AJs calf crusher. Styles wore Jericho down and attempted the submission again. The match came down to the wire. Jericho was about to tap out but grabbed the rope.Y2J won with a Codebreaker. Jericho proved AJ was not phenomenal enough to beat him twice.
