“Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m a man of wealth and taste. . . Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name. But what’s puzzling you, is the nature of my game.” – The Rolling Stones, Sympathy for the Devil
Dressed in a suit and tie, Triple H was the complete opposite of the man we saw on Raw. He savagely tortured Roman Reigns as an example to never question his power. He is the law and the authority.
He is The Game.
The Lucha Dragons, Neville, and Dolph Ziggler vs The League of Nations
The Lucha Dragons were impressive as usual with a suicide dive and Neville wiped out King Barrett (he actually fought in the match) with a Red Arrow, but The League of Nations conquered. Sheamus finished The Man that Gravity Forgot with the Brogue Kick to get the win.
Kevin Owens wanted to reward Dean Ambrose with a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship since he was the only one on the roster worthy of another shot. Plus, KO beat everyone else, except The Big Show. The World’s Largest Athlete thought Owens was a snarky piece of trash and wanted to test his skills in the ring.
Jimmy Uso vs D-Von
The theme for tonight seemed to be wrestlers thinking they were better than us. First Triple H dissed the crowd then the Dudley’s whined about not being a nostalgia act. Jimmy was doomed from the start. Bubba grabbed a table from under the ring but Jey stopped him. What happened to no more tables? Jimmy was knocked down from the top rope and D-Von got the roll up pin.
The Big Show vs Kevin Owens
KO faced The Big Show for the first time in his career. Michael Cole must have been happy to see Owens choke slammed. Due to a low blow, Kevin won via count out.
Natalya vs Becky Lynch
The match was disqualified as quickly as it started. Team Bad took their anger out on Natalya. Sasha rescued the ladies and scared away Naomi and Tamina.
Charlotte announced that a special contest between Becky and Sasha on Monday night would determine who would face her at WrestleMania 32 for the Divas Championship.
Heath Slater with The Social Outcasts vs R-Truth
Slater and R-Truth got into a dance content. King What’s Up did a split, all that was missing was him screaming, “You suckas got served!” Goldust finally made up for all of his past shenanigans and slapped Heath. Truth got the back slide pin for the win. Will the Golden Truth become a tag team?
The New Day vs Y2AJ and Mark Henry
Why was Jericho wearing an Uso shirt? Mark Henry was their surprise tag team partner to get revenge on The New Day. The Tag Team champions revealed their love of Booty O’s, coming soon to a grocery store near you, and taking baths together. They might be taking this whole tag team partner thing way too far. . .
With the World’s Strongest Man in their corner, Y2AJ were unstoppable. They mocked The New Day’s victory dance. Henry showed off some sweet moves, reminding us why they used to call him Sexual Chocolate.
It wasn’t all fun and games. The unicorns targeted Jericho and made him suffer with the unicorn stampede. He was also victimized with an arm submission and a basement dropkick. Worst of all, he was punished with a double splash combo from Big E and Xavier Woods. AJ rescued Jericho from being pinned but Y2J made the ultimate sacrifice and took a kick to the face that left him with a black eye. AJ applied the calf crusher to Woods and he immediately tapped out. Winner via submission, Y2AJ and Mark Henry.
The Undertaker has risen from the ashes and he will appear on Raw next Monday.
Will Shane-O Mac be in the building as well to confront the deadman?
